Brides Box Patterns

Painted boxes were popular in Europe for storage of family treasures. The bride's box was often given by the groom to the bride for her bonquet and headpiece. It is my hope that the historic patterns that I have replicated, along with the instructions, will bring you as much joy and excitement as they do for me. The historic antique pieces are a veritable treasure trove to study - technique, surface paint, pattern and design!
